Where it all began...

We are based in Newark and built from a green field site. We were founded by Dion Liveras and a small team of directors in July 1992.

Set-up originally to supply a range of retail chilled desserts, Laurens supply many of the top UK retailers and have played a key role in developing this area.

Producing 'live chill' seven days a week, Laurens supply a comprehensive range of chilled desserts in a private label format; in 2009 turnover exceeded £116m.

Laurens success has and is based on its open, honest and friendly approach to business.

With one of the most modern chilled desert manufacturing sites in the UK, we have just completed our latest factory expansion increasing our facility's production space from 110,00 sq ft to 135,000 sq ft.

The largest cream cake manufacturer in the UK, Laurens ethos has been to develop its business by supplying 'Core Volume Products' along with consistent quality at 100% service levels.
